Suncoast Gold Macadamias was established in 1985 as a macadamia grower co-operative to enable a sustainable future for local growers. Almost 40 years on, Suncoast Gold remains 100% owned by growers with profits returned to growers in the form of strong farmgate pricing and bonuses.
Our head office and processing facility are located in Gympie, Queensland, the birthplace of the global macadamia industry, between Australia’s two major growing regions. We service Macadamia growers from Atherton Tablelands in the North of QLD through to the Mid North Coast of NSW via our trusted and efficient logistics network.
Our factory has strong and unique capabilities in providing high quality ingredient grade product for the growing food ingredient sector. Our diversified portfolio of value added premium kernel and in-shell products sets us apart from our competitors in Australia and around the world.

SGM is owned by around 120 macadamia growers who form part of our network of suppliers. Thier growing crop volume allows us to remain a strong domestic processor, employing local people and investing back into the industry and the community.
We are 100% owned by growers so when we prosper, so do our growers.

SGM has a long history of being an active and integral part of the macadamia industry including involvement in events, associations and committees. Our enthusiastic grower services team of qualified and experienced consultants can assist you with technical advice, service and support throughout the year.
We support the Macadamia Conservation Trust in it’s journey to conserve wild macadamia habitat and rare wild macadamia populations.

At Suncoast Gold we recognise the importance of sustainability and stewardship of the land and environment that produces the macadamias we process. The majority of the macadamias we process are grown in the catchment of the Great Barrier Reef and other important land ad marine ecosystems.
Suncoast Gold are committed to helping our growers grow sustainably and to processing the crop with a minimal carbon footprint including maintaining on-shore cracking which also supports local communities.
