What can I use macadamia oil for?
Macadamia oil is a versatile cooking oil with a rich, buttery flavour and a high smoke point – ideal for frying, roasting, grilling, baking, and adding flavour to dressings, marinades, vegetables, and seafood. High in monounsaturated fats, it’s a healthy everyday choice that supports heart, skin, and metabolic wellness.
Why Macadamia Oil Is Good for You?
Macadamia oil contains a uniquely balanced omega profile:
- Omega‑7 (Palmitoleic Acid) | 15–22%
A rare plant‑based fatty acid known for supporting skin repair, hydration, and anti‑inflammatory benefits. - Omega‑9 (Oleic Acid) | ~75%
A heart‑healthy monounsaturated fat that helps reduce LDL cholesterol. - Omega‑6 (Linoleic Acid) | 1–3%
Present in small, balanced amounts to help maintain the skin’s barrier.
Key Benefits
- Heart Health: High monounsaturated fat levels support healthy cholesterol management.
- Skin & Hair Nourishment: Naturally moisturising and non-comedogenic; ideal for mature skin, scars, and sun-exposed areas.
- Balanced Nutrition: Favourable omega‑6 to omega‑3 ratio helps reduce inflammation compared to many common vegetable oils.

Macadamia Oil should be stored in a cool, dark place.
